Signs (2015) dir. by M. Night Shyamalan and The Ring (2002) dir. By Gore Verbinski

I am putting these two together because I ran into the same problem with both: everything I knew about them, I learned from the Scary Movie parody franchise. As such, I didn’t come into either of them fresh and ended up laughing at the scenes that had been parodied, alas. Seems like it would’ve been pretty cool to come into without knowing all the spoilers and details.
